WEELAY FAQ

General questions

Core Weelay logic, the non-custodial model, and the service responsibility boundaries.

What is Weelay? +
Weelay is a service for accepting USDT TRC20 payments through an invoice, hosted payment page, API, and webhook. It helps merchants create invoices, verify transactions, and receive payment status updates.

No. Weelay works as a non-custodial service. The buyer sends USDT directly to the merchant’s TRC20 wallet.
Who receives USDT from the buyer? +
The merchant receives USDT at the wallet address configured in the project. Weelay only verifies that a matching transaction was sent.
Who is Weelay for? +
Weelay is for websites, services, Telegram bots, SaaS projects, and merchants that need simple USDT TRC20 payments without funds being held by the payment service.
What is the merchant responsible for? +
The merchant is responsible for goods or services, order fulfillment, buyer support, refunds, the correctness of the TRC20 address, and legal compliance.
