WEELAY FAQ
Refunds and disputes
Refunds, disputed payments, duplicate payments, and merchant responsibility.
Can Weelay refund a payment to the buyer? +
No. Weelay does not hold funds and cannot send a refund instead of the merchant. Funds go directly to the merchant wallet.
Who is responsible for refunding the buyer? +
The merchant is responsible for the refund because the merchant receives USDT from the buyer directly.
What should be done if the buyer made a payment mistake? +
The buyer should contact the merchant and provide the invoice id, order id, transaction hash, amount, network, and send time.
What if the buyer paid twice? +
The merchant should review both transactions and decide whether to fulfill the order or refund the extra payment.
Can Weelay act as an arbitrator between buyer and merchant? +
Weelay can provide technical information about the invoice and transaction, but it is not the merchant and does not resolve commercial disputes for the parties.
